For the value, the Henniker Motel is a good option. It is right next to Pat's Peak, and while the outer lobby smelled overwhelmingly of smoke, the front desk staff was very nice, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Loved this hostel. Needed to be in the area and it is one of a handful of hostels that serve Henniker. The owner of the hostel was super nice and very friendly! He even wrote my name in my native language!! The hotel itself was very cozy. It had a perfect 'country' feel to it and I felt very safe there. Overall, a very good experience.

We had a wonderful stay! Mr. Tim welcomed us warmly and was excellent in conversation, making us feel right at home. He made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely accommodating throughout our visit. The motel is also very conveniently located near New England College, which was perfect for us. We truly appreciated the hospitality and will definitely come back!
