Room was clean. Everything you could need for an over night stay. Bed was comfy, but by no means ideal for all sleepers. Bounced around when husband turned over. Rooms are always too hot for me, so had to use the fan, which thankfully was supplied in the room. Would stay again for events though.

Hotel does what it says on the tin - good option for a quick overnight if attending an event in the city. Generally basic facilities & breakfast. Rooms could do with an update (plastic tea tray & paint on wood etc) but we had everything we needed with a good-sized shower, toiletries, hairdryer and AC as well. Staff were all really friendly, professional, efficient & helpful. Easy walking distance to AO arena Enjoyed a nice dinner at the Glasshouse restaurant, Crowne Plaza where you get 10% off if you mention staying nextdoor

Nothing to complain about. Staff were very friendly. easy check-in. Nice room. Comfortable nights sleep. Great location. Breakfast very good, if not a little busy; couldn't find anywhere to sit straight away but soon resolved.

Would be 5* with a new mattress

Friendly staff, great breakfast options, clean room with good views on high floor, nice shower, but bed very uncomfortable - needs a new mattress I think. Also had an accessible room which was strangely located the farthest from the lift?

We think our room had seen better days and it felt like the bed was broken. The dining area for breakfast was overrun and it was difficult to find a table, then took ages to find someone to clean it. Fix these and I would consider again

A decent hotel if used as "base" for weekend

Clean and tidy hotel, situated very close to the arndale centre. We had booked through a 3rd party booking site but when we got to the hotel, we were only given a double bed, but the reception staff arranged for the additional bed to be made up quickly. Rooms were very clean and tidy, spacious too. Only fault we had was the air con vent rattled during use - which wasn't an issue during day, but overnight was a nuisance. Breakfast is self serve buffet style and had plenty of options. Coffee was mediocre though. Overall a decent hotel if used as "base" for weekend

Weekend trip in Manchester

We chose this hotel because it was half an hour walk from the O2 Appollo. Although the check-in was quite lengthy the accommodation was very clean and the staff very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and would recommend it.
