The hotel is a short walk from the train station. The breakfast buffet was good and convenient. Hotel staff provided a map and suggestions for places to see. The air conditioning worked great. Our room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. One of our best sleeps.

It was extremely convenient and easy to find from Piccadilly. The staff on reception could not have been more helpful (and this was so during the whole stay) and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee and an iron were in the room. Breakfast was fine-a good choice but the vegetarian (separately cooked) was a little slow coming but they did apologise profusely so it was not an issue. Overall a great stay.

No opening windows & the aircon range only goes down to 18cels, so won't book this place when it's hot. Terrible knobbly pokey springs mattress on bed. Asked for a mattress topper, said they'd send one up but didn't. Textbook apology in the morning. Nice breakfast, almost as nice as across the road, bit cramped on its layout. Quiet hotel, good situation, exceeded expectations for a middle of the range budget hotel.
