There is no proper drop off area in front of the hotel entrance to unload luggaage. In addition, need to walk up the staircase to reach the reception. As a hotel, It is not luggage friendly. The room facing the main road is noisy at night.

In general the hotel is nice. Lifts are quick, if a little confusing, because of the need to validate each upward journey. Breakfast was good as was the view. The air-con was insufficient to maintain a nice temperature with a winter duvet so I slept on top of the duvet so as to not overheat. My main complaint is that I booked a twin and got a double handicapped suite! The suite was nice but having to sleep with my adult son did not make me or him happy. For that reason sleep was intermittent, however, the bed itself was comfortable. Other issue was that the recommended parking (Printworks) is about a block away and is not dead cheap. If it's raining then getting your luggage to and from your car will be a issue. We were lucky.

Perfect location,a very short walk to Arndale shopping centre. Hotel was very clean,room very spacious,spacious bathroom, no noises and the most comfortable bed . Room cleaned every day . Very friendly staff. I would stay again and i would certainly recommend Hotel Indigo.

Not a very relaxing stay. The smart tv did not work, we found hair in the bathroom and the sink didn't drain properly. Beds were hard and would not stay again

We stayed at the indigo in York and they were amazing! When we stayed in the manchester one it didn't seem as good. I asked for the air con to ve switched because it was blowing on my face at night and for some reason it wasn't turned off so i had 2 nights of waking up cold. The guy at the reception asked how our stay was and I replied it would have been better if they has turned off the air con he replied they couldn't turn it off and advised we could have moved to another room but we weren't told this so i am a bit disappointed with the Manchester indigo hotel.
