Staff - was unimpressed by reception staff following me into breakfast to check my room no which i had to say in front of strangers which as a solo traveller is risky. Also no eggs available for breakfast until after 6.25 when starts at 06.00

Staff were welcoming, although reception was very busy and very slow and not very attentive on arrival, our arrival had been delayed and we were in a rush, the queue was almost out the door and it felt like staff were just hovering. Room was ok, a little small for two people to walk around and get ready, and the mirror placement drove us mad as I had to keep bumping into my partner whilst she was getting ready.. bed was fantastic, bathroom was clean but not the best shower pressure and the toilet was positioned very high off the floor which felt odd.

The room was lovely but as much as it was clean, there was a dirt mark running the full length of the bed on the wall, as it over time people have rubbed against it over and over. All it needed was a clean and it would go but that’s the only thing that let the room down. Plus no hair conditioner so my hair was horrible after I showered

Room was nice and quiet although you heard every door slam with guest's coming and going which woke me a often. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast seriously let my stay down. No beans or mushrooms for breakfast. Really wouldn't stay based on this. Even premier inn can do beans. Scrambeled egg tasted fishy and everything was luke warm and stale even though i was onw of the first guests to dine. Other items were just odd and not breakfast type. A lot of choice but cheap. Coffee also came out weak and warm. I really looked forward to breakfast but left annoyed

Nice hotel with lovely staff in arguably the most central position in Manchester. Rooms are clean, with large, comfortable beds. Good bathrooms. An ideal choice for a short stay.
