Lovely Hotel Great Location for Coop Arena

Stayed 1 night with my daughter for a Lewis Capaldi concert at the Coop Arena hotel is 2 minute walk to Piccadilly tram. Really lovely hotel with comfy beds and lovely breakfast. The staff especially at breakfast were so lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when visiting Manchester. Thank you x

Ok on the surface, don't look any closer

Hotel on arrival looks impressive but not so much up close. Welcome drink was tasteless, so was the breakfast. No tea or any snacks in my room, wine glass was dusty, floor and shower both had random hairs (not mine), down the side of the bed was dusty and dirty. TV stopped working in the morning, the shower was boiling hot and moving the dial didn't change the temperature.

The location was great! Extremely close to Manchester Piccadilly Station. Lots of restaurants, walking distance to shops. The local transportation is easily accessible and easy to navigate. Staff were friendly especially Maurice & Brandon in the dining room.

Don’t trust them with your bank details

For some bizarre reason they split our booking of two rooms, charging double the city tax. But when two of our party came down for breakfast, they stuck us together again and charged for four. Emails to resolve the issue recieve truly bizarre responses including firm denials (quickly retracted) that any breakfasts were taken. Their internal systems are clearly a mess as different people respond with contradicting answers and the whole thing drags on.

Nice hotel

I had a very pleasant stay. Food was good staff were very good.Spotless room good Wi-Fi close to city centre lots of parking around the hotel. My only complaint would be my bedroom. The bed has a tiny lip just as you get out. I fell over it four times in three days to access the window. You have to climb over the bed.
