The staff were helpful. However, the cleanliness was not the best. The bed had a number of hairs on arrival on top of the bed. There was also a number of strains which were clearly seen on the bed cover. The shower tray was had black spot, which was off putting. They was also a good amount of dust generally in the room. This was around lights in the room. My mam dropped her reading tablet, when she pick it up it was covered in dust from the area. Though the location was ideal to the coop live.

Excellent location and facilities in the room. Really impressed with the hotel - would stay again. Used ahead of a concert at the stadium, and then spent the following day in Manchester exploring and shopping: ideal location and setting.

On arrival at hotel reception desk had no reservation for us. Had to call for manager who checked and said our booking was for the week after. It was a very busy reception and we were made to feel awkward and stupid in front of everyone. We asked to move to the lounge area to get it sorted as everyone was looking at us. We found the confirmation on our phone but was told it was hotels.com who had made a mistake. We don’t understand that as we had a message from the hotel in the morning welcoming us and asking if we needed anything or to upgrade when we arrived. It did eventually get sorted after about 30 minutes and into our room. The rooms were great and no problems. On leaving the hotel though at check out the receptionist said how lucky we were to get a room after booking wrong week. We have stayed with hotels.com a lot of times and in various countries (especially America) and have never had this problem so don’t understand Marriott’s excuse.
