We really enjoyed our stay at the Gran Bahia. We couldn't have wanted a better room, right on the sea front with magnificent views. Breakfast was included in our stay and was amazing, all fresh and loads of choice. We chose to have evening buffet a couple of times. Again, the food was excellent and extremely good value for money. I would recommend this hotel overall but there are a few negatives. 1) the pool is far too small for the size of the hotel. Fortunately, we had a car so went seeking beautiful beaches. 2) The area of the beach opposite the hotel is OK but not the best, however, if you walk along the front to the end of the strip, the beach gets much better near the dunes. 3) Parking is on the streets and not always easy to find a space. I can imagine it being a nightmare in main season. 4) The room was made up daily but never properly cleaned. Tea and coffee was never replaced and dirty glasses were just left for us to keep using the whole of our 11 night stay. However, towels were changed daily regardless of if we hung them up or left on the floor as per the instructions.
