I recently stayed at Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay and had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, my luggage was dropped off by my driver, but despite several staff members being present at the reception, no one offered assistance. I had to ask for help myself.
I was also surprised to learn that the incidental deposit would take a month to return to my card, which is not something I've encountered as a frequent traveler. The breakfast options were quite limited, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on my experience.
Additionally, my boyfriend, who arrived later, requested facial tissue from the front desk but received bathroom tissue instead, which was not what he needed. Lastly, when he asked for a key, he was escorted to our room by a bellman, as if his name was not on the guest list.
Overall, the service and amenities fell short of expectations.
