The bathroom was dirty. the facial tissue box was empty when we arrived. The tub/shower had a dirt ring. The toilet was not wiped down behind the seat where the seat mounts to the bowl. it had dirt and hair on it when we arrived.

The manager is a maniac! Has NO business managing ANYTHING. He acted out on myself AND another customer same day. He gets bad reviews on YOUR EXPEDIA site. He does great harm foe Microtel, Wyndham Hotels Expedia and the city of Mankato. The other mistreated customer called the police. Don't know how that turned out. Also upcharged my card 50.00 and if not put back on my card IMMEDIATELY I will file fraud charge to USBank —they have been very effective at resolving such issues. I've also called my banker so they are aware. If matter not resolved promptly I'll put a lock on my card(s) Seriously questioning if I'll use Expedia again. Which you can see I've used numerous occasions. Besides saying OH I'm so sorry with your AI responder, actually DO something about it. READ NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON MICROTEL MANKATO MN.

Torn carpet, walls that had huge , unrepaired dents. Light bars over the beds; broken grids, 1\3 of bulbs not working. Bed skirts torn. Sheets so old that they were almost worn through where people sit and sleep. Refrigerator ran so loud we had to unplug it at night. We had a reservation for three but only hadtw towels in bathroom. The bed sheets were stained and worn. The inside of the microwave had food particles from the last guest. The man at the front desk was unwelcoming. One of the beds in our room had several bugs. Our pillows and sheets had stains on close inspection. The sink drained very slowly. Upon leaving, the manager just said since we pre paid on line we were S. o. L. We were very unsatisfied with accommodations with no recourse.
