Check-in was easy and they worked with me when I arrived earlier than expected. The room was huge, clean, and more than adequate. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and will definitely be back. It's very convenient to the Outer Banks and Alligator River NWR so it's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, birders (like me!), and wildlife photographers.

Our room was upstairs in the guesthouse. It was spacious and very clean. The walls and floor seem to be very thin and when people/guests are downstairs talking or walking you can definitely hear everything. The only other negative would be the sheets. They were soft but had some pilling, which is uncomfortable when you are laying on them trying to sleep. The staff is so friendly and helpful, we would definitely plan another stay. The location is also a plus.

Property was hard to find in the dark a bigger lighted sign would help. Parking is tight if a person with a large truck parks beside you. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Bed was comfy. I will go back if I need a port in a storm again

I loved this quaint little place. We didn't arrive until after dark, but the owner was on the phone guiding us to the property. When I left the key code in the room while unloading the car, we called her again and she helped us unlocked the door. My only complaint would be lack of ventilation in the bathroom, but the Fairfield Inn and suites the night before also lacked it. Would stay again.

Love this cute little motel Very cozy and very friendly staff. Love the fire pit and tiki bar and the self serve coffee in the main house. Plus being pet friendly made this a perfect stay for us.

Charming little motel with very nice amenities. Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Loved the fire pit where some of the guests socialized. Delightful young woman in the office escorted us to our room and made sure all of our needs were met.
