Do not expect much. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. It’s very old and run down. The folks running the place are friendly and seem genuinely interested in making sure your stay is decent. Just don’t go in expecting 2025 standards for hotels. It’s NOT that. It’s a safe, warm and dry place to stay when you’re on a journey. No fancy anything. Accept it and be grateful for some rest and then carry on with your life.

Our room was clean and had everything that was necessary. The beds were comfortable and the linens clean and fresh. The walls, floors and bathroom fixtures are all worn and battered. I understand efforts are being made to renovate/refresh. They should continue. The price was very reasonable, reflective of the current condition of the building. The location was ideal for an overnight on the way from SW Ontario to Winnipeg

This property was fine for a one night highway stop. I was really was grateful for an early breakfast included in the room rate. It is old. The new owners are renovating. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The motel was a typical motel, what I didn’t like the most was the water pressure was poor. The breakfast as well was poor. The price for a night was cheap just matched the motel. I will be spending the little bit of extra money for a better place next trip.

It was okay! We stayed for the night during a road trip so we were very exhausted; the two beds in the room we booked fit 4 adults comfortably and their air conditioner may seem outdated but it keeps the room cool. Breakfast was fairly decent, there were waffles that you can freshly make yourself, omelet bites, breakfast potatoes, a variety of bread and pastries you can toast, a bunch of spreads, coffee, orange juice, and yogurt. Our only concern was the knocking on our window at 12 in the morning; the curtains didn’t overlap each other so I guess you can see inside our room, as a group of all girls we were very concerned for our safety but there was a double lock on the door so it made us feel somewhat comforted after whoever it was outside our window tried to knock five different times. Overall, I’d recommend this motel as it is affordable and comfortable enough if you’re looking for a short term stay.
