Al Markab means the boat in Arabic. It’s a traditional moroccan house designed in a riad style. Located in Riad Zitoune JEDID district which is the most appreciated part in marrakesh medina ( old authentic city) Founded by the vizir Ba Ahmad who has been the tutor of the sultan Moulay Abdelaziz who was twelve years old,and the builder of the Bahia palace as his personal residence. Al Markab is in the front part of the house, entirely private,with a private terrace, entrance,kitchen and restrooms.Tradionnally designed,beautifully decorated,very well equipped and very comfortable. Largely spacious for four persons and convened for couples,families, and friends. The private terrace is a must to enjoy sunrise and sunset with an open captivating view of the Medina around and the snow covered Atlas mountains in the back.
