Fantastic stay! Nice, clean, and sunny flat. Central location. Extraordinary view from balcony - the real selling point of the flat! Felt safe as a sole female traveler too. Enjoyed every minute of it. The host was prompt and diligent with communication. Make sure you always ask the host for the exact location as VRBO’s automated emails give incorrect location and directions. Can’t wait to go back to Cassis.

Zentral in Cassis

Insgesamt können wir das Appartement für einen Aufenthalt zu zweit, wie wir es genutzt haben, empfehlen. Auch wenn es uns zunächst sehr minimalistisch eingerichtet vorkam, was auch den Bildern entspricht, war alles vorhanden, was wir für einen angenehmen Urlaubsaufenthalt brauchen. Wenn man wie wir spät abends ankommt, freut man sich, dass auch schon ein Wein für den Abend und Kaffee bereitsteht und ansonsten auch ein paar Zutaten (Salz, Zucker, Gewürze, Öl usw.) bereits vorhanden sind. Uns wurden von Geraldine noch Küchenutensilien wie Teekanne und ein weiterer Topfdeckel gebracht, die wir vermisst hatten. Leider war während unseres Aufenthaltes aus einer vorigen Vermietung die Spülmaschine defekt und konnte in der Zeit nicht wie geplant repariert werden. Dies bedeutete für uns schon eine erhebliche Einschränkung, für die wir aber von Geraldine entschädigt wurden. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist in 5 Minuten am Hafen mit den Restaurants und am Hauptstrand oder etwas weiter am kleineren Strand am Rand des Ortes. Uns hatte die in der Karte ungenau eingezeichnete Lage irritiert, sie ist aber in Wirklichkeit mit der Nähe zum Hafen sogar besser. Die Lage ist trotz der Nähe zum Hafen auch sehr ruhig. Allerdings haben wir uns gefreut, dass die meiste Zeit während unseres Aufenthaltes keine Mieter in der Etage über uns gewohnt haben, da man dies dann doch hören konnte. Sollten wir wieder nach Cassis kommen, können wir uns gut vorstellen, das gleiche Appartement wieder zu nutzen.
