Friendly staff, very clean, good location

Incredibly friendly staff, particularly the member of staff who supported me for check in. The hotel is fairly basic, but very pleasant. Breakfast was a little sparse (just croissants, toast and some fruit), but well located for the various sites of Marseille.

Football fans

Stayed here for one of the Euro 2016 games ( Iceland v Hungary ). The location was great as it was just 5 minutes walk to the port area and 25 minutes to the Stadium. However we were charged for breakfast for 4 for two days when we only had it on one day as we left at 6:30am on the second day and the night porter didn't speak English so as we were trying to catch a train we just paid it.

Good value for the money

The staff didn't speak much english but all can be sorted out in broken French. The rooms were clean but the A/C didn't work. Good value for the money.

Not the best start, but OK from day 2

We arrived late at night - about 22.30. On arrival hotel was unaware of our booking. The night porter spoke little English, but was very apologetic and managed to find us another hotel for the first night about 10 minutes walk away, although finding it was quite difficult late at night.

Nice hotel in great location

The location was fantastic, very easy walk to both the harbour and the Cours Julienne areas. The staff were really friendly (not all spoke English so a basic knowledge of French would help but you could still get by) Overall, really happy with our choice, would definitely recommend.

Excellent small hotel convenient for all services and entertainment centred around the Vieux Port. Daily cruises from the quai as well as a fish market on weekdays:fresh catches daily. Right in the middle of vast amount of outlets for fashion and modern living. Good spot from which to explore Marseille on foot.

Excellent Location

Right at check in, we were upgraded due to availability, so that placed us on the right foot immediately. The room was indeed spacious with a nice bathroom. I had one of the best showers of my life in that bathroom. The light blue color theme made the ambience more comfortable. This hotel was chosen due to its location. It was very good, walking distance to most locations in the city. Finding a restaurant on a Monday night was a little difficult, we eventually had to abandon the goal of looking for a local restaurant and ended up eating by the Vieux Port, however, that's not the hotel's fault, just local businesses. Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel.

Hotel was close to Notre-Dame, Vieux-Port, and metro stations, nice interior decor, very convenient free parking out front. Two minor issues were the small size of the shower, and the rate of roughly 83 euro. But the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful to us non-French speakers.

The overnight receptionists won't speak any English, though, daytime receptionist was a young lad very happy to help out in every matter. Room is reasonably priced, reasonably quiet, reasonably clean. Could do with more lights.
