Trip to Marseille

Ive come to Marseille to visit my friend. For my stay, I wanted a hotel tjat was quite close to Saint Charles station and was an affordable proce. I booked Ibis via hotel.com and it disappoint. I arrived in the evening. The receptionist was very friendly , spoke good english and was very helpful. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat offering cereals, toast, pastries, coffee and juices. I would definitely recommend this hotel. *5 all the way!

Great Location

Great location. Metro station just a short walk away which takes you straight to train station. Bus takes you straight to beach and Olympic site in other direction. Great restaurants nearby; we used Namaste; Wasabi; Le Caucase and all were great. Small convenience shop right opposite the hotel and big market just around corner. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast nothing special but included in price and certainly adequate. Worthy of note, the breakfast staff kept the supplies constantly well-stocked and very clean. Room and bathroom adequate and clean, although the bathroom was quite small and in need of a little attention. We were on 6th floor and room was very quite. Air-conditioning much appreciated as temperature was in the 30s.

Emplacement parfait avec quelques petite boutiques pour se rafraîchir la nuit avant de renter à l'hôtel. Situé très proche de la station de métro. La chambre est propre, spacieuse (dommage seulement pour le carrelage de la douche qui commence à perdre de sa brillance et des carreaux qui veulent partir !). Le personnel est super sympathique et pro. Il etait affiché "insonorisé" mais j'avoue entendre les conversations à travers les portes en étant dans le couleur et on entend beaucoup l'extérieur qui donne à la rue depuis le 1er étage. Le petit déjeuner est pas mal, manque seulement un petit peu de variété de temps en temps pour changer.

J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel à titre profesionnel et en raison de l'emplacement qui est vraiment l'avantage de cet établissement. De plus il était convenu de récupérer des colis importants pour un salon sur Marseille qui à été refusé par erreur par le personnel, mais qui a nié leur faute jusqu'à ce que je leur apporte des preuvres que le transporteur s'était bien présenté à l'accueil. A noter deux cintres à disposition dans le dressing, pas adéquate pour s'installer confortablement...L'hotel ne dispose pas de parking, idéal pour piétons mais beaucoup moins en voiture.
