Cabin with 3 private water falls. Close to Buffalo River & Branson

NEW TO THE MARKET!

Whether you seek adventure or relaxation, Hidden Falls is where you want to be.

All the charm and coziness you would expect at an Ozark Mountain get-away on 38 acres with your own private waterfalls. Remote, yet only 35 miles to the Buffalo National River and 90 miles to Branson, Mo.

Secluded at the end of a private lane is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1556 sf home decorated with wildlife mounts, custom red cedar and unique Elk chewed furniture and bears everywhere.

Nature inside and out! From the wrap around porch, relax while watching birds and other wildlife- you might see deer and possibly a bear as Searcy County has the largest population of black bear in Arkansas.

The Main Cabin

You will find a full kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals - dishes, silver wear, pans, bakeware, etc. You just need to decide whether to cook inside or outside on the large Breo Pit encircled by massive Arkansas stone benches. Then you'll have to decide whether you want to eat outside at one of 2 red cedar picnic tables or inside on the custom red cedar table.

The main cabin has a master suite with a king bed and large TV. French doors that lead to the wrap around porch, and a large walk-in closet. The master bath has double sinks, a shower, and a garden tub, and a separate toilet area.

The second bedroom has a queen aspen log bed, and TV. Located right next to the second bathroom.

A queen size sleeper sofa located in the living room has a memory foam topper that can be added for extra comfort.

Relax in the living room, on either the aspen glider or leather sofa while enjoying the fire in the wood stove and surrounded by magnificent wildlife mounts to include a gray wolf and a turkey,

The Trapper's Cabin

Step back in time as you enter the Trapper's Cabin to experience how the old timers might have built their cabin with hand-peeled red cedar log walls and a tin roof, four custom red cedar log twin beds, pioneer decor, pelts, and deer mounts. This is an ideal space for teenaged kids or additional guests. The cabin is heated and cooled and includes a TV and a DVD player with some movies. Please note: a bathroom is not located in the Trapper's Cabin.

The Property

The cabin is located on 38 acres with 3 private waterfalls. Waterfall activity and water levels vary. The waterfalls are typically flowing from November through May, but during the dry summer months are reduced to a trickle. Exploring the canyon is still an adventure climbing the large rocks and base of the falls.

Hiking is permitted anywhere on the property, but there are 2 marked trails which lead to the falls. One trail is marked easy and the other moderate. Hiking sticks are provided. Appropriate hiking footwear is recommended.

Outside Amenities

A large Breeo fire pit is a perfect gathering spot for winding down in the evenings. There are 2 sizes of grilling grates, a hanging Dutch oven, and roasting sticks. The area around the fire pit is covered with outdoor lighting.

For your convenience, enough wood will be provided for fires for a couple of nights.

There are 2 six-foot red cedar tables next to the pit.

LED-lit badminton and cornhole boards along with a volleyball and net are available for use.

Furniture on the porch includes 2 cedar gliders, a table with 2 chairs, and a bench.

Enjoy nature and your favorite sporting event on the 55" TV out on the wrap around porch.

Inside Amenities

The main cabin includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stove, a Keurig and a coffee maker, hand mixer, blender, toaster, and full-size washer and dryer. Hair dryers and an iron and ironing board are also available.

PEACEFUL COUNTRY CHARM
WOW!!!! Where to start? I'll start with the HOSTS. The Jacksons are simply incredible. Responses are near instant. Very friendly and helpful. Just seem like genuine, good folks. The property!!!!! Just what we were looking for. Very secluded, quiet, and serene. I don't believe I have ever been anywhere as QUIET as this place. I actually think you could hear a pin drop. The trip over 9Dallas are). BE AWARE. This is NOT the city. Approximately 20 miles from the nearest town and the road is twisty and winding. You are NOT going to be able to drive 70-80 MPH. It takes a while to get from place to place. In the future, we might try to plan a bit more now that we have an idea what is around. Scenery is absolutely great. We came in from the WEST on 40, then the Farm Market. For a nice drive, I would prefer this. Coming home we went into Little Rock and took I-30 East. Definitely not as scenic, but not a bad drive. Our time there. I feel like you need to choose a direction and pretty much go that way for the day, if you choose to leave the property at all. There was plenty of stuff we didn't do. For me the peace and quiet was glorious and the cabin has everything you could imagine. In conclusion, if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place with plenty of outdoor activities, antiques, and the like, you will be hard pressed to find something better. There is a nice "rock shop" in Mountain View. It was probably the highlight of our trip. Good prices.

Amazing family trip!
Property was absolutely amazing! Wood furniture is so beautiful. House had some many extras for fun or in case you needed something. Worked perfectly for 2 families with kids to stay long weekend and go float the Buffalo River. Kids loved staying in their own Trappers cabin. Beds are very comfortable. We needed more time to enjoy it some more. By far one of the best rentals we have stayed in!

This was the best cabin we have ever stayed in. By far and we have stayed 2-3 times per year in cabins around Arkansas and Oklahoma for 7 years now. Cleanliness and first and then good value is the most important criteria for us. Beautiful high quality decorations, furniture, appliances and utensils inside and a very well kept yard and fire pit area outside. The floors, bathroom and kitchen were perfectly clean. The view was beautiful and it was fun to watch and listen to a great variety of birds feeding at the bird feeders. The highlight was unsurprisingly the waterfalls and the many flowering wild azaleas were the cherry on the cake. They mostly bloom in April in this part of Arkansas. It is worth following the “moderate” path up to where you run into a deep crevasse and rocks too high to get down and back up for most, just to see the azaleas. There are some on the “easy” route as well. The easy way has some steep sections, but at 67 and 66 we found it to be manageable and a nice workout. The 3 big waterfalls were just stunning. There are many waterfalls and hikes within easy reach from this location, so we are planning on coming back. Thank you, Robert, for sharing this gorgeous place at a reasonable price with us.

Wish we could stay longer!
The owner Robert communicated with me very well throughout. The cabin was spotless and had most things you’d need. We LOVED the fire pit area. The trails to go down to the waterfalls were a little steep especially if you had two dogs and two small children like we did. We decided not to go all the way down to the falls, but we enjoyed walking along the road in the morning and had a fantastic time! We would definitely go back there! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great vacation home.
We all had a great stay. The location is super peaceful and the stars on a clear night are like nothing we ever get to see in Florida. We even got visited by a grey fox in the evenings. The house and trapper cabin were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Phenomenal
This place absolutely topped all of our vrbo experiences. Such a beautiful place!! Would come again in a heartbeat! The trails were very well established and very well marked and the waterfalls were awesome. We were able to get around and explore before and after the huge rainfall. We loved the privacy and literally on our hikes we picked, it was like we had the place to ourselves. So many games and options for the kids. They loved the volleyball net and they even had laser tag too. The kids loved the special secluded cabin with all the twin beds. So many great hospitality features, excellent communication, and they did an excellent job being their first VRBO. Recommend 100 percent!!

Very serene and beautiful- cabin is Amazing!!
This was a sole sister’s hiking weekend and Robert and Stephanie‘s cabin made our entire stay a wonderful experience! First of all, the decor was amazing; the updated but rustic vibe was perfect for the Ozarks! If you’re from Arkansas or Missouri, then you would understand the Big Cedar-Bass Pro kind of style. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfy. Everything was pristine. The property was beautiful and the extra amenities were so nice, especially the outdoor around the camp fire area. The separate trappers cabin gave us additional beds and it is so cute. The ladies’ only suggestion was to add a mirror out there. The host was so nice; check-in and check-out were super easy, and the little guide book gave all the details and things to do which was so helpful. We hiked right off the property on a trail that led to beautiful waterfalls. This was just the best experience and we are already planning our next stay!
