It is a charming hotel...stay in the old section. Love this tiny town, and the hot baths are worth the cost.

Nice Getaway

Location is convenient and directly beside BS Park. Older decor, but goes with the aesthetic of the area. Room (West end) was clean & spacious. Employees were congenial & informative. Wonderful coffee shops, unique stores, and a few eating establishments within walking distance.

I liked the history. Very clean and safe. The housekeeping routine was not convenient. We hung the sign on the door asking for room service every morning, but we could hear the vacuums and cart outside our door at 8:30/9:00. We left our room around 10/10:30 and would come back at 5 or 6:00 to no service. I had to go downstairs and get towels every day. I think by the time we left the room the housekeepers had already done our floor and never went back even though according to policy as long as the sign was out by 2:00 that was good. The desk staff were always pleasant and had no problem getting me towels. But twice when they asked housekeeping to get towels or take our trash the facial expression let me know they weren’t thrilled. I would definitely recommend the Inn for an overnight stay while traveling through the area, but not for a 4 or 5 night stay.

If you love charming small towns and the old historic hotels that define them, then this is the place for you. Elegant yet down to earth, old but not outdated, and in the heart of it all but still a place to find relaxation and solace. Very convenient to everything downtown Berkeley Springs has to offer and a great place for a weekend getaway or a stopover on a longer journey. There are restaurants and shops blocks away and within the hotel, the bar and restaurant offer a homey atmosphere and some fine meals. The Reuben was excellent and the service was top notch. Overall I would say it's a hotel that has the personal warmth of a bed and breakfast but without the restrictions. Will definitely be back!

What a great place. My husband and I decided to use it as a night away on the way to another location. Check in was easy, the room was nice, the restaurant was great, had dinner and breakfast there, the shops around it were also great. We will be back to try the pools and the spa. I only wish they had put keys on a ring, as they were hard to keep up with.
