We stayed at Foxwoods Grand Pequot recently to attend a concert. The hotel and casino were beautiful and clean. We used the Valet parking and it was quick and easy. The Premiere Theater was so nice. The seats were roomy and comfortable. We didn’t have time for shopping but it was nice that the outlets were right there in the casino. I would for sure take advantage of the shopping next time. The only negative thing I have to say is that when I made my reservation and again via email before my arrival at the hotel, I requested a non smoking room. When I checked in I was told that there were only smoking rooms available. I accepted that because I wanted to get to dinner before the show. But I was not happy about it!

We had 2 rooms. Our rooms were not ready for check in. We didn’t get to check into one room until 4:30pm and the other room was not til 6:30pm. We asked if there would be any compensation for the inconvenience and when the desk service representative spoke to the manager the manager said no they don’t do that. We let it go because we had been waiting to check in for the night because we were attending an event that evening. When we went to the room later on to get into the second room. Our keys to the first room no longer worked and we could not get in. We tried to call down to the desk and the rep was rude blaming us for the keys not working. Trying to say we deadbolt the room when we all left the room. Which is physically impossible for no one to be in a room and it to magically deadbolt. She did not want to help she kept telling us to go back to the front desk. Finally she sent some one up to help open the other room but yet did not give us a new key to get in so none of our keys worked. On top of all that the room we waited all night for was disgusting with a clogged sink and smelled like cigarette smoke when we had a non smoking room. Just overall not a great experience at the hotel it’s self doubt I will stay there again.

Room was fine, staff fine, ... but the bathroom shower setup was terrible. Changing the shower option from handheld to overhead was very difficult and the shower fixture was leaking and spraying water onto the bathroom ceiling.
