Popponesset, "Best of Poppy" Waterfront home on Deans Pond, with a private walking path and just a two house walk (3 mins) to one of the best Private Deeded Beaches in Popponesset. **(Not the 7 minute walk the web site states, they don't show the footbridge) Patio with fire pit and hot tub. Dining and entertaining on the waterfront deck is prettier than any restaurant. After dinner enjoy the fire pit and the big night sky. Early birds can witness a breathtaking sunrise each morning. Fish off the footbridge or use our rowboat or kayak on the pond. Walk up to the Popponesset Marketplace for an ice cream, coffee, pizza or shopping. One of the shortest walks to the Popponesset Inn for a wedding or dinner and drinks. Stop by the Raw Bar for one of their famous lobster rolls. Bike throughout Popponesset or to the "Spit" beach, Community House or the marina. The Community House has daily activities for children, from organized baseball and basketball to arts and crafts, road races, bingo, and a children's playground. This is the ultimate family vacation spot in a "walking friendly", private community. There is something to do for every member of the family. Great Stay at Cape House Near Popponesset Inn
I stayed at this Cape house with 2 friends and my boyfriend and we were very pleased with the house! The house was adorably decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, plus it was perfectly located within walking distance to a wedding we attended at the Popponesset Inn. The pond views and walking trail were a nice bonus. Communication with the host was smooth and check-in was easy. Whether you're in town for an event at the Inn or just to relax, this house is a great pick. Highly recommended for its convenience and comfort!

Nice getaway
Nice quiet space. Clean with up to date kitchen. Although the weather was only in the 50s, views from the house was the pond with some ocean beyond. Please note that the laundry was in the cellar with access via very steep stairs with only a railing half way down. We had to leave early on checkout day, so getting towels washed, dried & folded as requested was a challenge. Overall, the experience was delightful & relaxing.

My best friend and I had an amazing stay!! The house was gorgeous, clean and the view couldn’t be beat. The area had great shops and restaurants. We loved hanging out and the beds were the best of any place I have stayed.

I was really impressed as I arrived with the easy instructions to get in, to the cleanliness, and organized all things needed in home were to access for the most part. It is a beautiful home anyone would enjoy for a nice getaway/vacation with family. We had soggy/rainy weather for most part on time there but we made the best of it. We had very nice walks on the beach. We were unable to use the grill and/or fire pit which would have been amazing as the outside setting was so pretty but we are looking forward to renting this location again. I would definitely recommend this location to others, you won’t be disappointed. JT

Long weekend stay
This was a perfect location for our long weekend stay for a wedding at the Pomponessett Inn. The host was extremely responsive regarding anything we needed and the place was in great shape and very clean. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent property, v good service too
Was staying with my sister and elderly mother. Excellent place on pond and a short walk to pristine beach. Paul was very responsive and helpful. The only issue we had was a lack of grab bars in the bathroom for an elderly person to use for the bower/bath.
