Staying here is a must if you love grand, peaceful views, incredible food and service, and helpful and inviting staff and owners. This is truly the House of the Baron, settled hillside with panoramic vistas of the sweeping mountain ranges alongside of Naples towards Sorrento. Every aspect of your stay has been considered, and the house keeps a meticulous record of your wants and needs. You can and should consult Gloria & Maria about the area, arranging cars, boats, scooters, and everything else you can think of. They are each extremely polite and helpful. Anna ran an excellent cooking class, and accommodated our diet flawlessly by crafting a dish for us to make on short notice. Fabio and family were very pleasant to talk with as well, and often checked in on our visit and day as we saw them. I’m ashamed to say I didn’t catch his name, but will say your day starts with the kindest man of all managing your breakfast and generally spreading joy to kickstart your day. Don’t second guess where to stay, this is the perfect place for your trip, and will be my first stop when I come back to Italy.

From the moment we stepped on the property, we knew we chose the right place! This place has that vacation vibe you are looking for. This is top tier, private luxury. If you are lucky enough to find Palazzo del Barone available for your stay then book it. The attention to detail is second to none. They have thought of everything. The pictures of Palazzo del Barone do not capture how absolutely gorgeous it is. This property is meticulously cleaned daily. No buffets here....your breakfast is made to order. You place your breakfast order the day before providing the time you'd like it served and it'll be ready when you are. Every single person we came in contact with treated us like special guests. This place was tough to leave, we will definitely be back! The communication was fantastic. They kept in contact with us from the moment we booked to make sure they could anticipate all our needs. They even arranged for car service to pick us up in Napoli. This hotel is an absolute gem! We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The property and setting are beautiful and the staff are amazing. We loved having some time away from the busy city center which is a short shuttle ride away. I would give more stars if I could; a true highlight of our already fantastic trip to Italy!

This is an incredible place. One of the most perfect places we have ever stayed. The grounds were lovely and the view, gorgeous. But it was the staff that made our stay so special. Barbara, Rosa and Maria took such good care of us and treated us like family. The drivers were fun and took us back and forth to Sorrento several times so we could explore or catch the train to Pompeii. And the chef! The food was locally sourced and so delicious. What a special, special place. We would give it ten stars if we could. Thank you for such an incredible stay!

We booked this hotel for our stay in Sorrento as part of our honeymoon and fell in love with it , it’s a small family run hotel with amazing views and has a lovely little restaurant there serving home made local dishes and your expected amazing Italian food.The hotel was very clean and all of the staff we met and spoke to were amazing and really helpful and friendly. The hotel is actually just outside Sorrento and is a fairly steep walk in to town which is manageable but isn’t for the feint hearted however this isn’t a problem if you don’t want to walk in as the hotel provides a free shuttle bus service which operates frequently having times running to and from the town all day and even up until 11pm at night making it no problem at all being a little outside the town centre. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to people as it is such a nice hotel with such helpful and friendly staff there who will definitely go the extra mile for you.

Our stay at the Palazzo del Barone was magical from beginning to end. The property is beautiful with stunning views, surrounded by lemon groves and olive trees. We attended the cooking school one afternoon as well, and I highly recommend that. The staff are some of the nicest in all of Italy, and bend over backwards to make sure that your stay is perfect. Barbara and Lucy are some of the best in the hotel business. This is Four Seasons level service, but it doesn't feel big and corporate like that, it feels like you are part of the family. The owner took the time to come to our table every dinner, and make sure we were happy. The shuttle down to Sorrento is very convenient and the staff always does their best to accommodate guest's needs for transportation. Comfortable beds, large bathrooms, plenty of plugs and amenities in the rooms. Our balcony looked out over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. What could be better than that? Also, the grounds of the property have been planted and meticulously maintained in a beautiful style. Everywhere you look is an Instagram-worthy scene. Bravo to the landscape architect. Oh and the food is sumptuous. I think we had three dinners there, and each one was better than the last. This is definitely a highly recommended property.
