The resort room is fantastic and the service is superb. Front desk communicated with us about the parking options the day before our arrival, and also helped us with taxi booking and sightseeing suggestions. Definitely will come back again!

Beautiful Place to Stay in Matera
The resort was unbelievable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was impeccable and so comfortable. The area is perfect for exploring Matera. They also arranged for parking and transfer to the hotel which was so helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

We spent two weeks in Puglia at five different hotels and Pianelle was our favorite. The service and staff were fantastic and the rooms modern while keeping with the architecture style of Matera. Breakfast was wonderful and extensive. And it’s location is perfect just steps from the Piazza San Pietro Caveoso.

There are no words to describe how truly spectacular this property is. It is stunningly beautiful and the staff is the best in the business. Poor Sergio, who stayed until 1:30 am to check us in after our late flight’s, was a lifesaver. Ediola fielded all of my questions via What’sApp to meld sure we made the most of our time. Absolutely superb in every way. We cannot wait to return!
