For only one night, the staff here were friendly and accommodating. They made check in’s and check out’s easy and quick. The room was in a good location next to the elevator and the walk to the train station was in short time. The view was also amazing as well, would come back here again for my stay in Matsue

Excellent location near station and many restaurants. There did not seem to be provision for separation of recyclables from general refuse within the hotel. The practice of using disposable cutlery and cups at breakfast is wasteful. A lot of plastic.

This was our second stay at a Toyoko property in Japan. Rooms were super clean, great amenities from laundry machines to baggage storage and just a short walk to the train station. The best part was the wonderful Japanese breakfast! Lots of variety and very yummy food to fuel up for a day of sightseeing in Matsue. A very comfortable stay.

I made my reservation 2 months in advance. It would have been good if i was informed that the hotel was under construction. When we got there, i asked the desk to change the location to our room because of street traffic. However, the desk clerk would even consider it. The breakfast area is small and they line up the tables like a classroom. The breakfast was just ok. Thankfully, the room was clean and we loved the fact that it's really close to the JR station.

It was a pleasant, quiet stay. The bed was among the firmest I have ever experienced even in Japan where most hotel beds are firm. The breakfast was good but often quite busy.

Good for a short stay

The hotel is about 3-minute walk from the train station. It is easy to find. The receptionist cannot communicate in English, but it does not affect the check-in. However, if you want to ask them other questions, you may not get an answer from them. The room is too small to store a big suitcase. It is clean and comfortable though. The breakfast choice is limited. It is good for a short stay

Gave you a place to put your head. Everything on room. Disappointed with the late check in 4pm when motif had 3pm. No English spoken but we coped. Breakfast definitely catered for salarymen not westerners like comfort inn did. COMFORT inn offered both eastern and western breakfast.

Free breakfast was OK but almost all rice...lots of forms of rice. Also, no kettle in the room. Both of these factors were unusual for Japan for a basic business hotel.

Good location, great value, comfortable room

Good location near the station. Very good value for money. Twin room gave us more space than a double. The beds were a bit hard but breakfast was included and quite good.
