Overall, we did enjoy our stay at Boca de Cielo Apartments. The complex is about a mile from the Olas Oltas Beach area, which has many restaurants, shops, and convenience stores. There is nothing else closer so we did a lot of walking. We enjoy walking so that was okay with us but may be a deterrent for others. The view from the unit is great. Our check-in process was poor as the owner was supposed to send an email with directions on how to get into the apartment. The email never showed up in my inbox even after multiple attempts. Finally, the owner sent me the instructions through whatsapp, which I did receive. Only one room card was provided, which was a challenge as we had three people in our group. The room card provides access to the complex, the elevator, and the unit. I messaged the owner twice requesting more cards but they never replied. Other items to think about before booking: -No safe in room -Only four towels and two hand towels -No beach towels -Missing tv in one room -Very limited glasses and coffee cups -Limited tp and no paper towels -Only one chair on balcony -Washer and dryer but no detergent -Roof top garden was great -Complex has pool, sauna, and jacuzzi -Nice community park across the street
