Our extended family had a lovely stay! The property was super family-friendly, well-stocked with games, books, and movies and the game tables were a big hit. The deck views are gorgeous. This was a family trip with our children and grandchildren to go to the water park and snow tubing. We all just loved the house! The host family was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had during our stay, and the house was very welcoming with a lot of fun games, pool table, and ping pong available to us. The back decks provided gorgeous views of the ski slopes and mountains, and we enjoyed the fire pit as well. We will definitely look forward to a future stay!

We stayed with my extended family—including my parents, five kids, and their spouses—with children ranging in age from 18 months to 10 years. April's place was perfect! My friends and I are JMU alumni that wanted to return to the area for the weekend. The house had a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of beds for all of us. We enjoyed the porches and the views especially. We would definitely stay again!

New year’s getaway

This house was the perfect escape and change of scenery to close out 2020. Our boys loved the ping pong table and bunk beds, the property was so well stocked for visitors, and we loved checking out the deer daily and walking around the Massanutten grounds each day.

This is a great place to stay! We had plenty of room, everything we needed, and the owners were communicative and helpful. The two decks in the back both had beautiful views. We had some rain the week we stayed, and especially appreciated that the lower deck stays dry so we could still sit outside. It is close to fun activities for the kids, hiking and restaurants. Comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend!
