We stayed here several times for just a 1 night stay, on our travels. The owners live on site. This is the 2nd year for the new owners, I think. It’s clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is a gas station next door that has fabulous fried chicken.

Lovely, clean room! Super comfy bed. Only request: milk or creamer for coffee rather than powder and more selection of jelly for toast. Only grape was available. Check in was easy, staff were very friendly and kind. Highly recommended!

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning unit worked well but was noisy. I did make the staff aware of this and she said they would look into it. There were many options for breakfast like hard boiled eggs, bagels, yogurt, fruit, etc. The employees I met were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The property was very clean. Easy access from interstate. Water tasted good. Bed was pretty comfortable. Quiet. Owner was nice. Breakfast was lacking—no milk or fresh coffee. There was a variety of fresh fruit, but mostly lots of high sugar /carb options. Overall an enjoyable experience, though.

We had a great experience with Dawson Inn. The room was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh. The Manager, Lisa, was very friendly. There is a gas station and small store next to the hotel where we purchased made-to-order sandwiches and water on our way to the New River Gorge National Park. The hotel is 15 min away from the Sandstone Falls Visitor's Center. The price is right and a gem for those visiting the area or just passing through.
