Right off the bat, we find out the pool is closed for maintenance even though at the time of booking it was advertising the pool. The desk clerk said Expedia had been notified, so the hotel or Expedia pulled a fast one here. Thanks a hell of a lot. We would not have booked the stay if we had known. Our room was run down, but the draft from the outside door was quite nice at - 15 celcius. No thermostat in our room. The people in the meeting/party room sounded like they were in our room. At midnight when I went to complain about the noise, the desk clerk informed me they did not really have a quiet time, they usually wait for someone to complain before doing anything. No apology to me, but she did apologize to the people she asked to be quiet. The daytime desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here a couple other times and enjoyed our visits, I am not sure if we will be back or not.

Didn't have high expectations as it was not a fancy hotel but any means but the rooms were filthy. Must have counted at least 20 but carcuses. This is disappointing as it just comes down to effort. Breakfast was excellent was about the only redeeming quality. Pool was okay but also filthy, debris everywhere. Staff was kind.

The staff was awesome. Friendliest I've experienced. The hotel itself is a pig that needs more than lipstick. Bonus: Weekdays the breakfast is ordered from the menu. It's not bad. Weekend buffet is lacklustre. Pool & waterslide is great. My kid loved it.
