Atlas Retreat Shoreham

Shoreham is an untouched gem on the raw coast of Western Port Bay, Victoria. An hour from the city of Melbourne. After first setting eyes on the Shoreham cove on a very hot Melbourne day it provided the best cool off, with the waters coming off the Southern ocean.

A property retreat in a small local community where the bush meets the sea. The Atlas retreat is set up inside to reflect the seven continents of the world. A highlight is the Asia/Yoga/Meditation room which is multi-functional.

Welcome to Atlas Retreat. We hope that you enjoy your stay. This document contains information about the property. Please take a moment to read through it.

Check in Time: Any time after 3pm, Check out time by10am

There is Garage parking if required.

Heating & Fire Extinguisher
(Fire Extinguisher is located on first floor in the tall kitchen cabinet to the right hand side of sink) and again on ground floor in the laundry cabinet under the sink

FIRST FLOOR
Kitchen, living and dining room split system (control is located on the side of the integrated fridge)
Master bedroom split system control panel located on entry to the left
Fire place - please only use the wood fire if you know how to use one. Firelighters and matches kept in tall cabinet to the right hand side of sink.

GROUND FLOOR
Multi purpose room - split system control panel located to the left of entry
Bedroom 02,03,04 - split system control panel located on entry and ceiling fans

Firewood
Wood supply at back of house to right hand side of gas bottle

TV & Entertainment
Please see laminated user manuals located near each TV

ALSO
Look around the shelving area for a few good books, magazines, puzzles & games but please be mindful of all the artifacts placed around the house. These are to remain in their place.

Kitchen
There is a supply of basic kitchen condiments in the pantry. Sugar, tea (black and herbal, coffee for plunger and coffee for machine, cooking oil, vinegar, tamari, salt and pepper.
On the bench you will find a coffee machine (instructions in black binder folder located in the tall kitchen cabinet to the right side of sink),
kettle and toaster kept in tall cabinet to the right side of sink
All other appliances can be found as per below
• Nutribullet – located in top drawer under the wall oven.
• Kenwood food processor - located in top drawer under the wall oven
• Sandwich Press – located in the 2nd draw down left of sink
• Integrated fridge/freezer to left of wall ovens
• Wall Ovens
• Cooktop (induction with downdraft/exhaust)
• Microwave
• Dishwasher
(Instructions to use each appliance will be in a black binder folder located in the tall kitchen cabinet to the right side of sink)

BBQ
Please feel free to use the BBQ. If you do use the BBQ could you please ensure that it is cleaned after use.
There are cleaning supplies provided in the drawers below the outdoor benchtop.
Picnic baskets/blankets can be found in cabinets under BBQ. Please enjoy

Bedrooms
On the First Floor there is the master bedroom with a king size bed. We call this room ‘Antarctica’
On ground floor there are four bedrooms (each with own ensuite)
To include two king singles that can be zipped together to create one super king bed.
These rooms are called,
Africa, Europe, North America and South America Rooms

There are also single mattresses available upon request.
Each room has a space for storing your luggage and wardrobe for hanging clothes

Please advise if you need single beds made up for your stay.

Multi Purpose Room
This is fitted out with Yoga equipment should you wish to call in a Yoga instructor.
We recommend Lisa Allwell from Seed Yoga however you will need to book this in

Or an instructor of your choice
Please do not use the Yoga equipment unless practicing Yoga and if used please be respectful and pack away. Thankyou
These items are not kids toys.

The Pool & Spa
The spa can be heated and ipad control panel is located on first floor at side of integrated fridge.
Simply tap on the screen to bring up home page. Tap on Connect my Pool icon, Tap the heating icon & select spa. Heating to 39 deg is recommended
Takes approx. 45mins to heat spa.
Pool lights can also be turned on/off via ipad

Cabana
This is a self-contained room with kitchenette, shower, gym equipment & sofa that pulls out as sofa bed if needed.
Beach towels can be found in drawers below the kitchen benchtop
Outdoor utensils / plates in kitchen cabinets

Rubbish and Recycling
There is a general garbage bin and a recycling bin at back of house On departure, it would be appreciated if you could deposit your rubbish and recycling into the appropriate bins. Thank you for your assistance with this.

Washing
There is a washing machine and dryer in the laundry on ground floor.
Washing liquid provided.
Washing line location is at side of house and also a clothes horse stored in the laundry cabinet.
You can find Instructions on washing machine and dryer in the black binder folder located in the tall kitchen cabinet right side of sink.

Cleaning
There is cleaning items available in the laundry broom cabinet. First tall cabinet on entry. Stick vacumn and enjo mop (laminated instructions on how to use enjo mop pinned up in cabinet)

Garage
There are a number of surfboards stored in the garage. These are NOT for use. however please feel free to bring your own & enjoy the beach.
There is a beach shelter hanging up in garage. Feel free to use this if required.
Outdoor table tennis table also stored in garage. Please enjoy a game.
There are all sorts of outdoor games located here. Please feel free to use.

Checking Out
The general rule is to leave it how you found it. Please lock all doors and windows. Keys go back in the lockbox and the alarm on.

Smoking — There is no smoking policy at Atlas Retreat, in or around it. Please take any butts with you and take care to look after this slice of paradise.

Eating and Drinking — Please keep food and drink out of the bedrooms. Stains and spills can be difficult on the delicate fabrics.

Pets — There is a no pets policy at Atlas Retreat. Thank you for your understanding. Evidence of pets will incur an extra cleaning fee that may be expensive.

NOISE
Lastly but very importantly be mindful of your noise levels at the house. There is to be no excessive noise at any time of the day or night and you need to abide by council law and not have audible noise to the neighbours past 10pm on weekends. We have a no party policy at the house. Bonds are withheld if there is a breach in residential noise restrictions and our neighbours are disturbed. There are now new council laws stating there is to be no outside use of the house from 10pm, from this time you need to be indoors.
