The staff was great. I forgot toothpaste and was delighted to get some at the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel had good food. The shuttle to my office was clutch as it was really cold that day. As long as that security deposit doesn’t show up on my bill i will have no complaints.

Everything about our stay was excellent- most of all was the professionalism care and support demonstrated by Clarence at the Reception Desk - we only wish he was in the UK as wouldn’t hesitate to employ him. He along with Trent who kindly delivered me to Farmingdale train station and the super helpful breakfast serving staff, made it for a short but positively memorable stay!

Gus, the GM overheard my conversation with the front desk regarding the worn furniture in our room, and a $ room security deposit for our stay for damages. As I showed the photos to the person at reception after our first night, Gus intervened. In a most polite manner, he introduced himself, handed me his card, and offered to change our room with a significant upgrade. At first I declined, however, he wanted us to be happy, and explained the hotel is undergoing major renovations, albeit it takes time. I still remember his words, “People check in as guests, and check out as friends “. Although he alone cannot alter the Hilton corporate plans; yet locally onsite he and his staff understand customer satisfaction. Bravo!!

Our experience at this hotel was unbelievably disappointing. The first room we were given wasn’t extremely clean, and we could clearly hear full conversations, TV, and even sex noises through the walls. The only positive part of our stay was the front desk staff. they were kind, understanding, and quick to switch our room. Unfortunately, the second room was somehow worse. The heat was the only option and we came to the room and it was 89 degrees, so we had to sleep with the window open just to be able to relax. From there it only went downhill: the hot water stopped working, a blow dryer started sparking and smoking in my hand, the sink broke, and the toilet stopped flushing. This was hands down the worst hotel stay we’ve had in our entire lives. The staff did what they could, but the condition of the rooms and the number of issues we experienced were completely unacceptable. We would not stay here again and are hesitant to even stay at any other Hilton again.

Asked for pillows and comforter for the pullout couch and? Had to fetch them from the front desk. The pillows? Terrible. Walls in the hotel are paper thin. Got a phone call at 12:30am complaining about noise. Noise? Wife and i having a quiet conversation. WTH? Room was stifling. Turn on the AC? No. It's November and they only do heat. Have to crack a window. Hilton has seen better days.

The hotel bar was nice and we were able to entertain friends there , but the hotel is dated and has a poor “face lift” real lipstick on a pig situation, my wife saw two roaches in our room! The rooms were nice. Beds were comfy. Lobby was great. Staff were all helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that while the lobby and entrance looked spectacular, I wish they had spent a bit more on upgrading the bathroom in the rooms. They certainly need a face lift.

The staff were all very courteous and friendly. The room, the lobby and the facilities were all clean and well maintained. However, the bathroom in the room needs to be updated. Also, on the morning we checked out the hot water ran out an only one of us was able to take a hot shower.
