Elegant 5 BR East Memphis Home

This beautiful east Memphis home is in the center of all that Memphis has to offer. Very safe neighborhood around the corner from Elvis’ first Memphis home. Plenty of space, artsy and upscale, cozy and inviting. You will feel right at home here. The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 2 half baths and an upstairs loft for the kids with 4 beds and game room. There are two patios, one covered and both have outdoor eating and sitting options with a play set and fire pit.

The entire ground floor of the home is available to our guests. This includes 5 bedroom and 3.5 baths, a laundry room, dining room, private backyard, patio dining with dining area and grill. The upstairs playroom has a game room and dorm afire style sleeping with 2 full beds and 2 twin beds. There is also a half bath upstairs. This is a wonderful historic home with beautiful crown mountings, hardwood and brick floors, with updated baths and kitchens. In the heart of Memphis, you are less then 15 minutes to all of the attractions and are in one of the most desirable and safe East Memphis neighborhoods (around the corner from Elvis’ first home he bought for his mother after hitting the charts with Heartbreak Hotel!)

There are 4 outdoor areas for smoking - a covered patio with lounge seating and dining seating, an open air fire pit with seating and an open patio with dining seating. There is a playground for the kids.

This property has great potential to be a wonderful Airbnb. Some maintenance and other minor issues need to be addressed, but we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful neighborhood/safe. Nice owner.

Beautiful Place

Gabe was a great host. His place was a great place for our large family. Only about 10-20 minutes from all the places you want to see in Memphis. Our kids loved the play set in the back yard and the adults enjoyed sitting on the patio and the sunken living room at night. Bedrooms were clean and cozy. Definitely recommend.

Very pleasant and roomy suburban home.

The home was a perfect base for 4 couples doing music, cultural, and BBQ tourism. Comfortable and interesting house, peaceful and safe neighborhood, great patio and private backyard. A few minor maintenance matters, but what home doesn't have them? Highly recommended.

Home nice and lived in but well taken care

The stay was ok the neighbors were friendly and welcoming. The air conditioner and refrigerator would not stay cold. The owner accused is of leaving trash scattered through back yard. The outside trash bins were full from the prior guests that left day prior to our arrival. I asked owner where should we place our bagged garbage and he stated that we should leave in back by full large bin, which we did. We moved a table and some chairs to play cards that were not placed back in order and he complained. We left home clean just like we found it. Other than this unfortunate accusation our trip to the city was awesome. FYI take pictures of homes upon arrival and departure.

Great Home in Memphis

Gabe has a beautiful home, and he was a great host! Spacious with 2 master suites made his home ideal for our group of couples and singles! Cleanliness was a top priority and we appreciated that! Gabe updated us prior to our arrival and made himself available for any concerns throughout our stay. He promptly thanked us for our stay after we'd left! Such a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood centrally located for us!

Amazing home!

This home was everything! We came for a family members college graduation and enjoyed every moment of our stay! We were able to have breakfast, dinner and we even had a BBQ. We played board games and games in the backyard. We were in very close proximity to Beale street and the highway! Gabe was on call whenever I needed him and he gave us a few complimentary items. ( I won’t spoil the surprise). Overall great host and home!

We would offer the following comments to generate a higher rating: 1. A thorough professional cleaning. 2. Leave some space in the fridge for guests wine, beer, etc.. 3. Decluttering of personal items from many surfaces. 4. Need window covering and new mattress in original master bedroom. 5. Provide written instructions for TV. 6. Replace burnt out lights and repair broken bathroom fixtures.
