We knew this property years ago when we lived in the area. Even though the precise area has gone a but downhill, the hotel itself is well run and accommodating.

My husband and I rented a room for a night away from the kids. The front desk staff was friendly but very hard to understand due to a language barrier. The room was older but cleaner than most. There was a strange smell to the room when we walked in. Like a musty closed up smell. There were not enough towels available. The thing that made us leave and not stay the night was the bedding was soaking wet when we pulled the covers back. There wasn’t a leak in the ceiling that we could tell. It grossed us out so we didn't stay and we went back home at 2am. We would not choose to stay here again.
