Unfortunately my last impression of this stay was a negative one. The hotel entrance is located inside a cafe, in which I spent time and money at every day. After I checked out, I took a seat in the back corner of the cafe to wait about 20 minutes for my ride to the airport. A tall effeminate employee in glasses came by multiple times to take an order and when I said I was just waiting, they became aggressive and said I need to stay in the hotel waiting area, which is actually just a tiny office with one chair. Given that the two businesses are clearly in cooperation and benefit from each other, I'm surprised that cafe staff would be allowed to treat a hotel guest this way. The other staff person was ok with me sitting there, so maybe this person needs to be coached on customer service.

lovely hotel and a wonderful location across form the park. staff were super helpful - only thing to be aware of is that the basic rooms are quite small. totally fine for a night or two but book a bigger room if you are staying for longer x

Mixed review

While we were impressed by the online description, we were upset by lack of lobby and nonfunctioning television. Also, while we booked early for a quiet room, we were given one on the first floor above the cafe, which could be noisy. We enjoyed the staff, the location and the bed. There was no dresser and the shower was hard to regulate as far as the temperature. We love the service and kindness of the staff serving breakfast on the rooftop. Good food also!

The hotel offers limited services and looks more like an apartment building than a hotel. The “free” breakfast is embarrassing; we gave up on it after the first try.

Hotel Luca is a lovely little boutique hotel in a perfect location across from a park in Roma Norte. It is modern and extremely clean. The rooftop breakfasts were delightful.

Cute spot

Cute little hotel in an awesome location. This is not really a 4star. But it is a nice little spot. Its comfy and the staff is very kind and helpful. The rooftop breakfast is so nice in the morning. Toilet seats that match the toilet so the lid stays up would sure be nice lol

Great stay in Roma Norte

I stayed at the Hotel Luca for my first trip to Mexico City & I am so glad I did! Roma Norte is a wonderful walkable and safe area. Lots of restaurant and shops nearby and an easy commute to many attractions. The staff are friendly and attentive, the room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Loved the complimentary breakfast choices. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to explore Mexico City.
