My teens and I stayed at Hotel Catedral for 10 days and absolutely LOVED calling it ‘home’ during our vacation in Mexico City!!! The staff was so friendly, professional, helpful, and accommodating. We looked forward to the delicious breakfast buffet each morning and often regarded it to be a highlight to our day! Our wonderful food server Thelma greeted us each day with a warm smile and was ready to prepare additional foods upon request. Vanessa in the dining area memorized our warm drinks and both of them were like Tia’s by the time our vacation was over. Each day, we came back to a refreshed hotel room, supplies fully stocked and everything in order. The refrigerator had so many FREE beverages and snacks, it was amazing!! We even booked tours conveniently downstairs and got picked up right outside of the hotel! No need to Uber to a pickup location! We are in incredibly grateful for such a positive experience at the Hotel Catedral and HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stay in there! We definitely will for our next visit!!

Everything about this hotel was great. From location to the Breakfast buffet excellent service. Bed was COMFORTABLE pillows were also comfortable 😌. Will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Mexico city.

Location was excellent, right behind the Cathedral, steps from Zocalo and tour buses. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and with excellent service; buffet breakfast had a great variety of fresh food at reasonable price and service was superb; water and sodas in the room fridge were free of charge and room was cleaned and replenished daily. Great view from the various terraces and there is a restaurant in the first floor and a bar area in one of the terraces, very handy for rainy nights! Our bed was very comfortable and there is a menu for pillows so we could choose for our preference. Lots of space for clothing; Internet was handy although a bit slow. We would definitely stay there in another visit to Mexico DF!

We had internet troubles all four days of our stay. We kept calling to the front desk and they would tell us they'd be sending someone to troubleshoot it, but no one ever arrived. We had to ask for toilet paper because it never got replaced, again, the front desk said they'd be sending someone with it, but again, no one showed up. The staff was great, the view, and the accessibility to the city was amazing, I just expected things to function the way they should for the price I paid.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff is top notch, very attentive, helpful and friendly. The only wrinkle was that my room key did not allow for access to the Terrace restaurant. Staff would have to allow me access. An adjustment has to be made to allow the wonderful bartenders a safer and comfortable way to go between the bar and terrace area. Overall we were very pleased with our choice for our trip to Mexico City.

The moment we arrived at the lobby there was no one to help with our luggage. I have to dragged all my bags inside. Chek in was at 3 pm. We arrived around 1 30pm and was told our room was not ready yet, that it will be ready at 3pm. We went to eat and came back around 4pm and still the room was not ready yet. They said that it will be ready at 4 45pm so we had to wait.
