I wouldn’t stay here again due to the multiple problems we faced with front desk staff. They lost reservations that were paid for in full and gave us a room that was occupied by another guest in our party. Never apologized or owned their unprofessional conduct. Too bad as the hotel is lovely and location is the best.

The hotel site is incredible as it is on an archeological site with glass floors in the lobby. Location and terrace is great. Completely coffee and snacks, very lovely. Front desk staff are not organized and need training. Very unfriendly and bothered by guests. Too much time spent at front desk trying to sort out problem after problem.

Lost half of my groups reservations the first night at 2 in the morning. I had reserved rooms for a group of friends and when we showed up, front dest told me I only had half. Fortunately I had previously gone in and paid in full and had my Expedia reservation info. I argued for 30 minutes. Everyone had to wait in the lobby after flying all day. Thought they would be on the streets in the middle of the night…horrible experience. Strangely, the hotel itself is great. They just don’t have competent people at the front desk. I will never put my friends through that again.

Made reservations for meny nights for a group of friends coming to visit me from Canada. From the beginning the front dest staff was aggravated with me for making so many reservations. When I do this at other hotels, they welcome all the money I spend there. They lost some of them and I had to show proof of all the money I spent. Fortunately one baggage employee was nice. The rest at the front of house are unkind. Will never bring a group here until their staff have been replaced with people who know how to work in the hospitality industry. Very unfortunate given that the physical hotel has so much potential.

Great location. Lobby is special with complimentary coffee, water and snacks. Front desk staff are maybe new, untrained, or hate their jobs. They made things that are simple in other hotels, complex and become easily confused. Constant problems with room card access and room reservations. A complete disorganized operation. Cleaning staff were opposite; kind and professional.

Had a group of 10 friends come and stayed in 8 rooms for just over a week. I will never use this hotel again. Lost reservations, keycards deactivated everyday, long waits for help with safe not working with $$$ inside. Overall, building is amazing, front desk staff and incompetent. Really made the experience difficult on a daily basis and taken away from the overall.

Hotel is beautiful, especially the new half with the ruins under the glass floor. Location is the best. Restaurant, unlike most hotels, was well priced and had good food. The front desk staff however were not good. There was 1 or 2 exceptions, but the rest struggled to know how to do their job, where bothered by guests, and would not want to be helpful. I believe they must all be new and have not been trained. Hopefully the hotel sees the potential to be a great hotel by simply finding staff who are good at their jobs. Cleaning staff and baggage staff were very kind.
