This was easily my favorite stay while in CDMX. The home/lobby area was so beautifully designed, decorated, and spotlessly clean. The center garden area was lush, immaculately tended to, and so peaceful. Getting to enjoy my morning coffee from the balcony looking out at it was so relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and having their kind and talented staff cooking in the open kitchen next door was a lovely intimate touch to a home-cooked experience. I definitely plan on booking again if I’m ever back in town.

We LOVED everything about Ignacia Guest House. We wanted to try other area and moved to another hotel in Polanco as planned but we loved Ignacia so much that we cancelled the last night in Polanco and came back to Ignacia. I booked this hotel because of the decor ( and good reviews ). I wanted to stay in the pink room! Whilst the hotel was beautifully decorated, the pink room was rather small and hard to move around in. It had a small balcony that helped. Lovely bed and sheets and quiet at night. The breakfast was amazing, delicious and sociable in a small dining area. Oddly strict rule that would charge $500 if you brought in your own alcohol! There is an honesty bar in the hotel lounge but my husband didn't realize ( no indication ) that there were beers in the kitchen area. The street in Roma is not as pretty as streets in Condesa but it was near bars and restaurants and easy to get dropped off in Ubers.

Exceptional Guest House

Ignacia Guest House is simply perfect! One of the best places we've had the pleasure of staying at during our travels. The property itself has everything you could need for a comfortable stay and the smallest of details thought of. We were in the pink room and we really enjoyed the space and particularly the spacious bathroom and cosy bacony with the most idyllic view. Great shower pressure, toiletries, avcomfortable bed, and a powerful AC were great. The common areas are beautifully decorated and feel homey and chic. The breakfast is SO good and changes daily to somehting local and delicious. The daily happy hour and mixologist cocktails on particualr days was a lovely addition and we really enjoyed meeting and chatting to other guests during this time. The team working at IGH were excellent, a big thanks to Diego and Magda for being so hospitable and helpful. We loved the neightborhood and had so many great restaurants and bars nearby. A massive thanks for a wonderful stay, we will most definitely stay here again when back in CDMX.
