Perfetto per la Festa dell’indipendenza

Ristrutturazione conservativa molto ben curata. La stanza era molto buia e senza affacci, i vetri sono acidati. Per capire le condizioni meteo bisogna scendere nella hall e uscire in strada. Posizione meravigliosa in occasione della festa dell’indipendenza. Personale estremamente gentile. Nella strada parallela c’è PASTESERIA IDEAL dove trovare dolci di qualsiasi tipo a prezzi super vantaggiosi.

The property was very unique as it is not the typical hotel set up, which I loved! The entrance was very dark, modern, and clean. As you step into the room, you are met with a dark foyer, but the room and bathroom were very bright and I appreciated the contrast. The hotel staff were amazing, kind, and very accommodating. I would highly recommend!

Best location near the Zocalo in Mexico City. Our scheduled tours were all conveniently located in walking distance which was great. The customer service was fantastic. Staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The beds were comfortable.

Umbral Hilton provided comfortable, high-quality accommodations. The area is safe for international travellers with key landmarks such as The Zocalo, Bellas Artes, and The Cathedral within a couple of blocks. Meet-up options for tours are also close by, although it often made more sense to walk a few blocks to grab our Uber because traffic is slow. No big deal, but wearing comfortable shoes is a must. Food options are plentiful, readily available, and steps away: 24-hr Taqueria Los Cocuyos (visited by Anthony Bourdain), Azulisimo (unmatchable high-end traditional), Terraza Gran Hotel (Zocalo view)...and we had Tim Horton's coffee next door, as well as excellent restaurants with natural juices and many options both at the base of the hotel and on the top floor. We also used the room service, and it was excellent. My husband liked the burger and I loved the quesadillas made with hand-made coloured corn tortillas. The blended margaritas by the pool are delicious. The bed and linen were comfortable and of high quality, and our room was very spacious. Overall, a great stay! Fully recommend it.

Umbral a Curio Collection by Hilton is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Our room was clean and spacious with renowned staff 24 hours. The hotel was a walking distance from the central and zocalo.

Great hotel but avoid the rooftop restaurant

This is a nice hotel if you need to stay in Centro Historico. The front desk staff and housekeeping team are very friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant is not very good and the service could not be any slower even if you are the only person in the restaurant. One waiter was either so poorly trained or in the wrong position that everything he did was incorrect. Kind of ruined what would have been a nice stay.

Beautiful building, nice well-equipped rooms, and the loveliest staff. Truly in the heart of the city with many major attractions within walking distance. I highly recommend Umbral!

This property is beautiful and the staff was excellent, but I would say that the hotel is already starting to feel a little worn out. Our front door to our hotel room looks like it had been broken into with a screwdriver. It’s hard to close any of the doors without them slamming extra hard.. There’s also numbers missing on the walls throughout the hallways and stairs and just generally rough around the edges. I know Hotel get thrashed very quickly by guests so it’s not the end of the world, but I’ve definitely excise. It needs somebody to run through it and clean it up a bit. But overall, we had a very good experience.

My stay at Umbral Hilton Collection in Mexico City was absolutely pleasant. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The hotel is also stunning. The hotel is located in the busy city center close to sight seeing and lots of food options. Good choice for a first time visiting Mexico City.
