For one night it isn’t bad but need to ay attention to cleaning saw roaches in the elevator and the smells humid. But has a nice breakfast and everyone is very nice.

Property not in the best shape. Noisy fridge, noisy elevator.. microwave was positioned in such way that it was impossible to plug it in. And there was a roach in the room. And I do know the difference between “Florida bugs” and common roaches. This was definitely a roach

To confirm our reservation and the shuttle arrival at the airport, we called the front desk twice and were asked to hold please and one time the phone was never picked up and the other time it was several minutes. Airport shuttle is advertised in the lobby as “on the hour”, but arrived at ten minutes after. I think La Quinta is good value for the money, but phone answering and shuttle departures could be improved.

La Quinta Inn and Suites is a tired place that needs to be revamped. Flooring in the hotel hallways and room need to be replaced. Some of the boards are weak and shaky to walk on. Pillows need to be replaced and more attention to cleaning floors to get all dirt up while mopping or vacuuming. I would not walk on the floors with shoes on. Employees at front desk are very accommodating and pleasant. La Quinta hotel transportation for pickup at the Miami Airport was horrible. We called to find out where the van would pick us up. We were told between doors 7 - 30 something. We were at door 7 and the van was in the second lane of traffic and didn't stop or slow down to see if anyone was waiting . We tried to get the drivers attention but we were unsuccessful and I will admit I said a few cusswords as he drove pass. A young man heard my frustration and ran and caught up with the van to tell the driver we were waiting for pickup. driver than waited for us to walk to door 8. Driver proceeded to the third lane of traffic and did not slow down to see if anyone else was waiting at doors 9 - 30. I did report this to the front desk and response was we are told to tell guests to wait at doors 7 - 30. Why tell guests to wait at those doors if the driver never slows down or stops to see if there are other guests needing transport. The driver did assist us with our bags into the van and lobby which was greatly appreciated. Internet is crappy could not log on to use WIFI.

Called 4 times, put me on hold and never got back to me. Key didn’t work so had to go back down cuz they didn’t answer the phone. AC was loud and clanked, dog barking since 5AM. Only waffles, no protein, Tiny, Tiny bottles of BAD soaps.

First of all, my room wasn’t ready until 2 hours after check in time. The room was adequate but not more. When you walk in, the first thing you see is the bathroom sink. The bedding was very worn, pillows lumpy. Also, no water or coffee in the lobby. Only during breakfast hours. They were very good with suitcase storage
