Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
We originally stayed at this hotel approx 15 years ago, when this was a gorgeous and well looked after hotel. Very little has been updated since, other than random pictures of a woman (if you know you know!) appears to now have been white washed over. The property is in desperate need of renovation and upkeep.
We stayed for a week and during this time, the only housekeeping done was bins emptied and towels replaced. The bed wasn’t changed and the floor was NEVER cleaned.. the bathroom was also untouched. Although the staff were not rude, they were not friendly at all.
Bags are checked when going to the pool area as no food or drink is allowed to be brought in and must be purchased from there. $10 for a can of beer and $17 for a very small pre made cocktail. We even had an empty water bottle taken away.
The hotel is in a good location if you’re not looking to party constantly. You’re out of the hustle and bustle but it’s a nice 15min walking distance to the action.
Overall the hotel is ok. Average stay. Average review.
