SHOULD BE DEMOLISHED

Hotel was filthy when we got there we noticed hair on the ground, the place was super sketchy has a bad odor the rooms stink like cigar and the beds smell like penetrated cigars lady was smoking at the pool so it makes sense to the smell, we had asked for toilet paper they told us we had to go get it … next day we had to call for some I asked two people before calling it never got there they only sent one we checked out ahead of time the place sucks never been in such a crappy hotel getting your stuff in is complicated hotel is super old and run down shouldn’t be in service there’s mold in the room the ac leaks and the floor is nearly broken down the table is disgusting and the chair has a hole and rust… please spend a few bucks more and stay somewhere CLEANER and up to date

The property needs renovation. Rooms are dated, vinyl flooring was damaged, no thermostat just a dial for high/med/low settings for air handler, drywall repairs that were incomplete, etc.

I arrived into Miami at 3am (delayed flight), and needed place to rest my head. This was the wrong choice. I read the reviews and should have listened. I had to kill five baby and midsize roaches within a span of five hours. I tried to sleep, but I could not because I was in panic at that point. I sat in the chair, taking naps until I went to the next hotel. I kept the light on, hoping the roaches would not pop out, but I killed five. The managers are giving me a hard time receiving a refund even though the girl at the front desk told me they would process immediately, and I am not happy at all with this property.

the place is a little old and run down, but not terrible and the rooms are OK, and reasonable for the price considering this is the Miami area. The location is quite good especially being walking distance to the train, and there are things to do in the vicinity. The pool area is a little claustrophobic being surrounded by walls and building, but the pool itself is nice. The staff look stressed and the guests were of all sorts - some not so savory! Nice little Turkish restaurant around the corner

the faculty was in a terrible condition, it was outdated, the furniture in the room was damaged, the floorboards were broken, the bathtub had missing pieces and were covered instead of replacing the whole tub, AC outdated, curtains were broken and bathroom did not even had an extractor.

First thought no Hot Water. 1st morning Took cold shower. Got a little warm towards the end. Sooo next morning ran water for 20 minutes , hence not eco friendly. Next 1st night AC fan sounded like a dryer fill with bolts. Let front desk know. Got to room that night NO AC ! Turns out service guy did not turn disconnect after servicing. Easy fix but now thermostat does nothing had to turn off at 03:00 due to frost bite. Another non eco friendly issue. I will say this If you have a loved one at South Miami Baptist. Great location.

Honestly the most disgusting and terrible place I ever been the rooms smell like mold, the floors and the walls are cracked there’s water damage in the bathroom and mold on the ceiling painted over ac sucks. No fridge no microwave, no breakfast, no bathtubs, no slippers, they don’t even have a mop they use a broom and a bathroom towel to clean the floor and they only have one for the whole building. The key card never works you always have to get it reactivated. It’s extremely annoying and my last straw was the last day there some man from the cleaning crew opened my door even tho I have the do not disturb sign up on the handle and he didn’t even knock luckily I had the second chain lock on and then the power goes out and in the middle of the night 4am the fire alarms went off no compensation no apologies they just brushed it off. Honestly not a hotel this is more like motel falls advertising and they should not charge more than $250-$300 a week never again !!

It was the worst hotels I’ve been to in my life the whole place smells like mildew, I had go outside to breathe properly! There were bugs, mildew areas everywhere dirty carpet, people living in the hotel and staff act like they don’t know what’s going on around them. Everything is old and ran down. The pool was filthy. I wouldn’t let my dog swim in that pool. Never again!!!!

The service was awful the front desk was rude.The Hotel charges hidden fees.The floor in the room has stains all over it and feels moist and disgusting at all times.The floor also has holes under the carpet.The toilet barely works,Wi fi cuts out TV barely works it’s like a tv that is broken from 1990.There are hardly any working outlets.The walls are gross the fridge is basically a freezer impossible to get enough toilet paper the maid won’t leave u alone the garbage for your car is disgusting
