Overall we enjoyed our getaway at the Blue Chip Casino on Monday June 9th 2025. When I booked the room I saw there were drink specials at the bar. In the evening we went to the main bar just off the casino floor near the main entrance and asked the bar tender what the special included. She rattled of something about "Well drinks" and I wasn't sure what that meant so I asked what kind of drinks that included. She got very rude and rattled off a few things and I could even understand what she was saying. (the bar wasn't busy, only one other person there) Needless to say we left without getting a drink. The room we had was in the old tower, it was dated and could have been cleaner especially around the bathroom corners. The hot tubs had way too much chlorine in them and made your skin sting a little bit. The location is nice and the property is fun to hang out in. I would not go out of my way to stay at this property again.

The staff was great. The ac in my room wasn't working and they moved me into a much better room. The hotel is very nice and bright. Only issue was the heavy smoke smell in the casino but the hotel itself was great.

The same customer service staff checked us in and out and was very rude. After check in she goes “okay you’re checked in”, I asked where our keys were and she goes “ we will text you when your room is ready”. At checkout, no polite conversation such as “ how was your stay”, etc. She simply took our room keys, typed on the computer and said “you’re checked out”. No, “have a nice day or anything”. I had to ask for a receipt which she appeared to be miffed by my asking for one. Other staff on property usually said hi, have a good day, etc as we passed them and were very cordial. She was not a good representative of the Blue Chip staff

The area is not fantastic but the hotel was a nice spot to stay overnight, good food, entertainment and if you like a little slot action it was good. We found it odd that you could still smoke in this casino but it was sort of blast from the past.
