Nice and neat appartement:not so good:the acoustics are really strange: the hall is extremely loud/the flat poorly soundproofed, so that even turning keys from other inhabitants in their doors sounds as though they are entering your flat andon weekends (in season) there is a restaurant/bar on the ground floor and on the balcony on 6th floor you can understand every word guests are saying and them cutting food on their plates sounds as though they would sit right next to you.The location of the building for shopping or having dinner out is not optimal:at least out of season you have to walk or drive at least 1km each direction to Oostende or Westende to find shops and decent restaurants.The flat itself is one room divided in 3 spaces via wardrobes and a bar to the kitchenette:Storing clothes is nearly impossible, because the wardrobes are either locked or occupied by cleaning stuff or beddings/cushions/pillows-for me as a single person who brought its own bedding it was OK, because I could use one of the bunk-beds for my clothes-I would say, 2 people is the most to have a comfortable stay for a week or two.The kitchenette is poorly equipped:no oven, no dishwasher, poor cutlerie and a very dirty coffee-maker (powder)-I used the kettle an one of the various coffeepowder-holders to prepare my single cup of morning coffee.I brought (and recommend to bring, because you can't rely on the things being there, if needed):- sugar- salt- pepper (no more letters, sorry)
