Ranji is by far the most hospitable hotel owner I have ever had the pleasure dealing with. He couldn’t be more helpful and courteous. If you want to have a super experience then you must stay at this hotel!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service

Grosse déception (malgré la belle piscine)

Ne vous y méprenez pas, l’atout de cet hôtel réside dans son agréable piscine, propre et à l’eau naturellement chaude. On pourrait aussi parler de son curry agréable. Pour le reste, nous avons été franchement déçus et pourtant, nous ne sommes pas particulièrement exigeants. L’hôtel ne semble plus vraiment entretenu. Les chambres ne sont pas hyper propres, les draps ne sont pas changés. Quand ils organisent des taxis pour vous, ils vous déposent mais oublient de venir vous chercher comme initialement convenu. Le plus gênant à nos yeux est qu’ils ne se soient jamais excusés de la méprise. Les serveurs n’ont plus lavés leur chemise depuis des mois. Quant l’électricité tombe en rade, jamais ils ne penseraient à vous fournir des bougies... Le petit déjeuner est composé d’une tranche de pain grillée, de la confiture en pot et 2/3 fruits découpés et pas particulièrement délicieux... le pire que nous ayons connus au Sri Lanka. Bref, cet hôtel avait probablement un certain charme à une certaine époque mais on sent une vraie fatigue et un manque évident de spontanéité dans l’envie de rendre service et de soigner ses invités aux petits oignons. Et quand on voit ce qu’on paie pour ce service, on n’est pas loin du vol. Bref, terriblement déçus.
