This contemporary designed villa is ideally situated just 5 minutes away from the heart of one of Andalucia's most renowned historic white villages, Mijas pueblo. On the stunning picturesque streets, you will find numerous restaurants, shops, and supermarkets.

The villa was beautiful and comfortable, however we encountered a number of problems during the week. We arrived on the Saturday to find that there was no running water, hence toilets wouldn’t flush, showers wouldn’t work and taps did not provide water. This resulted in having to wait at the villa until an engineer to arrive to solve the problem. On the second day one of the air conditioning units started to leak causing a puddle in the lounge. On the third day the door leading out to the pool wouldn’t work, resulting in more wasted time making phone calls. On days four and five we were experiencing power failures, which affected WiFi, the entrance gates, as well as the lights and all the electrical appliances. This was confined ti the villa and did not affect the surrounding properties. Despite all this we were able to enjoy the beautiful area it was just a pity the problems caused so much stress and time wasting.

Great stay!

This property was very spacious and had the most amazing views I’ve ever seen! Very well equipped and had a great kitchen and outside bbq area. Lovely grounds and a huge amount of space! Great for families! Pool was fab (no standing end for young children just to be aware) We would recommend this stay to anyone! If we were to be critical…. The main house has an office space which is a real waste. As a family this would have been great to have twin beds as it’s a difficult set up otherwise with young children as you wouldn’t leave them in the apartments (not attached) It’s an area that could be well utilised. A book on what’s in the area would have been great (shops, doctors, hospitals, taxi numbers etc) You absolutely need a car unless you’re happy to pop out once for a massive shop or happy to use taxis. You’re in a very elevated position.

Perfect for family and friends

This is a lovely roomy house set in an extensive garden on a hillside which provided spectacular views down over the lower reaches of the Mijas area, to the Mediterranean Sea, and upwards to higher crests. It was particularly pretty lit up at night. The 2 annexes are separated from the main house by the driveway and each is accessed by a manageable flight of stone steps. They provide smart accommodation and a high degree of privacy. The sofa bed in the red annexe was very comfortable. In the main house the 2 ground floor bedrooms are compact and simply furnished, but are also cool and shady so no complaints. The master suite upstairs is very spacious indeed, bright and sunny, and the balcony and (dizzyingly high) roof terrace are accessed by its French doors. Tip to the owners: I’d do without the study area. It could take twin beds or a sofa bed easily, and provide a family suite. You definitely need a car. The roads all around are steep. Mijas pueblo is walkable only if you’re fit and have decent footwear. Not for my 89 yo mother or our two young grandchildren. There are lovely shops, bars and restaurants in the pueblo. We drove down into town for our big shopping at the Carrefour (10 mins or so subject to traffic). The pool is a nice size, and the bbq/ dining area a very sociable space. You can be eating, relaxing or cooking and easily monitor the children in the pool.
