In Dire Need of Repairs

It gives me no pleasure to tell you that this was the very worst flat I have ever stayed in with over 10 years of excellent experiences all over Milan, Paris, Bordeaux and Florida. - Most basically the apartment was NOT CLEAN when I arrived. That is a very sad 'welcome' indeed. The dining table was dirty, the surfaces had not been dusted, the bathroom sink area was dirty, the bidet had a long hair on it even after you sent a special person to clean the above mentioned items = Gross! Also dishes in the cabinet were not clean, and the drawer with eating utensils is full of crumbs, or?? The apartment badly needs maintenance of all sorts. -The floor tiles are cracked in both the kitchen and the bathroom. -Some of the kitchen tiles are also loose - which could be a serious hazard. -The kitchen faucet is barely attached to the sink. - The bathroom shower head LEAKS ALL OVER THE FLOOR. This is a slipping hazard and very unsafe. A guest should really not have to be mopping up water all over the floor!! - the shower/tub is in fact 'broken' with the whole side of the tube completely detached and grungy looking - the lighting is dingy in the bathroom ( is that on purpose so the flaws don't show?). But in fact the flat overall could use better lighting - the garbage bins need to be identified - that is so easy - instead of leaving a book of instructions on how to deal with garbage, an important issue the world over, how about making it easy for guests by just labeling the bins with the appropriate designations? The apartment has some nicely designed features and the location is great. But in light of all the maintenance issues and the horrible housekeeping the fee is not merited. In addition- I was overcharged - May confirmation said one number; my credit card was over charged by 80 euros. I am still waiting for a response from the managing agent
