Upon driving up to the hotel unfortunately my first thought was “what the hell did I book?”. The outside gave the appearance of a freshly abandoned building. We pulled up to the front of the hotel and there is trash everywhere. Overspilling out of both trash cans. It looks like people gave up and just started to discard their trash around the cans. I walk inside and am very shocked that the interior does not match the exterior. The lobby is beautiful. We check in and are told we can park out front or in the parking garage. We opt to check out the parking garage. It’s a post apocalyptic world down there. We turn around immediately and park out front instead. We gather our things and head to the room. The halls are poorly lit and it is very creepy as we walk down the long hall to our room. I feel like I’m in a scene of a horror movie just waiting for something to pop out. We make it to our room without any
