We had an expensive room with a view. We ordered pizza and it came partially cold. Seemed the pizza was a frozen pizza and heated up in the oven and was watery on bottom. Also there was a noise in the bathroom that clicks on a regular basis and we had to close the bathroom door at night. The room also had a weird smell that was not very pleasant. The property was fine. Dining options for such a large hotel are very miniscule. This is more for a place to come for a drink at the roof than staying overnight. Our experiences staying at high end hotels are usually much more pleasant than this. Roof is nice.

Comfortable stay

Room 226 has great views over central station. Room size was spacious with all the amenities of chargeable mini bar, slippers, shoe shine etc. very comfortable big bed. Bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, shower cap, vanity pack. There was also plenty of towels too. Rain fall shower head needs changing and it’s very hard and difficult to open the tap for the shower. It was very stiff and had no grip. Shame during our stay the main restaurant was closed for refurbishment. Breakfast was good with variety but no vegetarian or halal sausages. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Luxury, cleanliness, focused on modern but keeping the architectural beauty, view of the town from dining terrace anx most of all, staff ready to do all needed to make guests feel very comfortable. I thank Joy, Veronica and Victoria for being such wonderful front desk managers and offering their attention to my birthday. To all visitors of Milan - book at Excelsior Gallia.
