Great location on a budget

Superbly located in Porto Nina between the main train and bus station (Milano Centrale) and the main city centre with the Duomo cathedral just a 20 minute walk away. Right next to a big public gardens (Indro Montanelli Gardens) with a number of restaurants and convenience shops on your doorstep. It’s an Ibis, so you know you’re going to get a standard (maybe slightly above standard) budget offering.

Good hotel, but the room are small, parking was filled, no refrigerate in a room, breakfast was so-so. At the same time kitchen works almost all time and it could be convenient when you need worm food.

Rooms don't have much space when your sharing a twin. Only 1 socket in the room which made charging phones etc, drying & straightening hair a military operation when 2 people sharing. Air conditioning was difficult to operate and inadequate to be honest, rooms too hot & stuffy. We did ask for assistance with AC to ensure we were using it correctly, which lead to instructions being redrawn on the termostat. We were using it correctly afterall it was just in adequate and maybe needs updating.

We stayed for one night before flying home after a week in Italy. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to an executive room. Upon entering the room, it was tiny! There was no floor space to open a 20kg case, we had two! We had to open the case on the bed each time and closing it and standing it up each time we needed anything out of the case.

For more than $200 a night. You get a mini room with no power outlets by the bed. Only one outlet by the door and one on the desk. Everything looks cheap, the bed, furniture, the bathroom. The only thing that is nice is the lobby. The rooms are beyond disappointing. It should not be more than $100. Almost $500 for two nights is a plain robbery. Stay somewhere else!!

I liked the location and the room was basic but clean. There was noise from outside every night. Groups of immigrants sitting around and also noise from the street. Air conditioning was very weak and the receptionist said it comes on at 10pm? Really useful for during the day when its 26 degrees. The food at breakfast looked awful. I stuck with the bread and croissants. The fruit was green and mouldy. There was man complaining to staff and showing them and they didnt take the rest away. It wasnt the worst hotel but I won't be back.

The hotel is clean, reasonably well located and safe. The room is relatively small for two people, which was the main reason I didn’t give it five stars.Check-in was quick and efficient. They have a a small workout facility.

It is indeed just a 3-star hotel. The pictures on the website look much better than the actual rooms. The shared areas are very nice. Room is small and really does not equipped with anything (just a bed, 2 pillows, and a bathroom). The breakfast provided is very good with many items and free Prosecco.
