Disappoing experience
Very disappointing experience – delayed check-in, dirty apartments, and no responsibility
We were really looking forward to our stay in Milan, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. After a long and hot drive from Norway with our children – including a one-year-old baby – we arrived at the apartment, which was supposed to be ready for check-in at 3:00 PM. Instead, we were left waiting until around 9:00 PM.
We had to wait in the car for hours, in the heat, with a tired and hungry baby. It was exhausting, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.
When we finally got access, the apartment was dirty, dusty, and smelled bad – clearly not cleaned or prepared for guests. We immediately contacted the host, sent photos, and asked for either a refund or another clean apartment.
After more than two hours of additional waiting, we were moved to a different apartment. But sadly, that one was also not properly cleaned or maintained.
The host took no real responsibility, offered no compensation, and showed no understanding of the difficult situation – especially considering we were traveling with small children.
This experience ruined the start of our vacation. We do not recommend this place to anyone, especially not to families with young kids who expect cleanliness, comfort, and basic professionalism.
