Lovely hotel, room was very clean and modern with lots of space. Bathroom was also great. It is just a fair walking distance to the main tourist attractions in Milan

First city break experience in Milan. The property is fine and good place to rest when experiencing the city, as local to metro station links around 10mins walk from the hotel. Good experience especially from the staff.

This hotel falls short in several areas for a property rated "four stars" The mattress was quite firm and very thin with only one pillow provided each and a lightweight blanket, which may not suit all guests’ preferences. There were no in-room ironing facilities available; instead, guests are directed to a basement conference room where an iron is attached to a fixed chain, making it a little awkward to use. Service at the reception could have been warmer and more engaging. On a positive note, the location is convenient — within easy reach of the city centre and about a 15-minute walk to the Duomo.

Vi brukar aldrig klaga men denna gången måste vi. När vi kom till hotellet sa personalen att de skulle uppgradera oss till ett bättre rum. Vi skulle ha utsikt mot staden men hade bara mot ett hus sim var under renovering. Rummet var jätte dammigt. Tv:n kunde man inte titta på pga räckena som var framför sängarna. Duschen droppade hela natten. Vi ville i te ens ha en uppgradering på rummet. Inte värt hälften av pengarna vi gav. Allmänt hotellet var bra och frukosten och personalen var jättebra.

Lovely clean but very basic room, no water or tea/coffee in rooms, so disappointing. Very cold during the night, only supplied one pillow and sheets, highlighted this to reception and they turned the temperature up. Walls are paper thin, the family in the next room were SO loud, it felt like they were in our room.

Our stay was mostly fine — nice location, and overall experience was positive. However, the major downside was that the electricity was cut off at 12:00 PM, exactly at check-out time, even though we had confirmed staying an extra hour. They refused to turn it back on in the room, which was frustrating and totally unnecessary. It felt absurd, especially when we were still in the room with permission to stay longer. That moment really soured the end of our stay, unfortunately. But aside from that issue, everything else was okay.

Joy 124 is a Beautiful, modern, minimalistic boutique hotel with super friendly staff. Upon checking I walked into a spotless/clean room; the overall common areas were clean. The breakfast buffet was well set and attended. It offered diverse options. The location, in my opinion very convenient, close to the Milano central station, metro stations and bus stops. There are bike rentals right outside the hotel. I felt safe walking in/out, and around the property. I loved it and I highly recommend.

Definitely deserving its 4*!

Would definitely stay here again! All the staff were so kind, helpful & patient, especially given the lang. barrier. The hotel is very clean & I felt safe solo. Great shower pressure + tempt too & I slept like a baby. (context I’m a Brit) the breakfast was the only significant let down - the pastries & range of pancakes + sweet foods were great! But the hot food: pancake, veg mix, sausage/beef balls & what appeared to be a variation of baked beans were cold & tasteless so I’d manage expectations or get breakfast elsewhere if I wanted meats. The tiles on the some of the floors in the bedrooms may have a slight stain that looks like dirt (but the floor & everything else is immaculately cleaned). I raised this w/the staff & they explained that their builders messed up some tiles (the stains are like part of the tiles). As it was very obviously still a clean floor, I wouldn’t mind staying in a room with it at all. Just mentioning incase your room has it & it’s an initial shock lool

Probably still newly opened, but the room is not well soundproofed… need a bit more curtains, fabrics or carpet to bounce off the sound in the room. Also the door fixtures was not installed properly and fell off twice. Lastly, AC wasn’t working properly. Still lots of improvements. But overall decent.
