Beautiful hotel and great location. The breakfast was exceptional as well as the restaurant ambience. The room was large and well appointed. Given our stay in the fall the AC was unavailable which meant no airflow in the room; opening the windows (tilt at top) only allowed for so much. It would have been nice to be able to run the central fan or have fans in the room for airflow despite temperature being comfortable.

We ended up having ant (BUGS) infestation in our room… traveled with a baby, had to throw out all the formula and other things to avoid risk of contamination… god knows what other bugs we may have not seen on their perfectly brown wood floors… When expressed our frustration to the front desk, they said they “did not do anything wrong”… while I understand that things can happen, there’s always a way to mellow things down and provide some sort of resolution, such as compensating for breakfast (the least they could do!!!) as an apology for such an unfortunate situation. We were also assured that the breakfast was included in our booking, while apparently it wasn’t. We would have gladly stepped out and had breakfast elsewhere than having an overpriced and average selection buffet. 5 star hotel turned out to be a disaster. BEWARE! The staff could not be more rude about it. I will make sure these pictures end up on every online profile they have. Appalled by this type of behavior.

This was an absolutely beautiful hotel and our room was outstanding. The bathroom was huge, as was the room. The design and layout was so well done. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was great. The cleaning staff left the room immaculate. We had a living room and a large table. Although we didn't spend much time in our room, it was great to have such a huge room. Down the street behind the wall was the river with lots of restaurants. Behind the hotel there was a great pizza place. highly recommend this hotel one of the best places we stayed in.

The hotel was humid, and I noticed the bedding felt damp and not clean enough while sleeping, which made my skin itchy. The coffee table was too large, making the living room feel cramped. Additionally, the food at the restaurant was so bad that even my simple order of pasta was disappointing. Furthermore, the beds were too soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

Unfortunately, our experience at Magna Pars was disappointing. While we were pleased to receive an upgrade to an Executive Suite upon arrival, the issues began quickly. Room 34 was spacious but had no working AC and an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. A staff member confirmed the problems but told us to call the front desk again to request a room change—something that should have been handled directly in a "5-star" hotel. We moved to Room 24, which was similar but had a more worn-looking sofa and an awkward small shower stall. At least it didn't smell, and the AC was weak but functioning. However, the shower had NO HOT WATER. The same staff member confirmed this and we checked yet another room and found the water situation to be the same. At this point the young lady at the front desk dismissively claimed, “That’s the way the water is here.” I had to take a cold shower before dinner, frustrated that the most expensive hotel of our trip was delivering the worst experience. Later that night, the hot water and AC were mysteriously fixed—but no one informed us or acknowledged the trouble. The next morning, a building-wide evacuation alarm added to the chaos, and no explanation was given. Ultimately, what made the stay so poor wasn’t just the room issues, but the staff’s lack of follow-through and basic acknowledgement of our inconvenience. At a "5-Star" hotel with so few rooms, more attentiveness should be expected. Sadly, we left feeling regretful instead of relaxed.
