On Sunday evening the power was out from 10pm until 9am. We had poor service from the general manager who never responded to our email below: I’m sending this email from the nearby Equator Coffee Shop to use their wifi as the power is still out at the hotel. I would like to request a credit for last night’s stay as with a power outage from 10pm (and as of 8am still no power) I paid for services that I didn’t not receive (power, internet, heat, shower, breakfast). I would also like to draw your attention to another unfortunate gap in service that occurred yesterday. When I returned from cycling at 2pm yesterday my key card no long worked. I was informed at the front desk that I was checked out per my reservation (However when I checked in it was clearly for 5 nights.) I was asked to produce my proof of booking again and then informed it was a system glitch and room keys were reactivated. I travel here several times a year to enjoy the great trail running and cycling, I have always been satisfied with your Mill Valley Holiday Inn but this trip I am disappointed. I would at the minimum request a refund of last night’s stay and I hope by the time I return to the hotel the power is back on so Leah and I can shower up and get on with more fun adventures!

I have submitted a credit card refund via chat. We DID NOT stay at the Holiday Inn. The Front desk called while we were enroute to advise that there was no electricity at the hotel. He stated he was cancelling on their end with no penalties or charges. Please refund to my credit card the Holiday Inn charges. You can confirm with them
